Just a quick update!

So i've been practicing with my new wacom tablet for a few weeks now, and i'm starting to get the hang of it. Still, its very weird to look at the screen while drawing, rather than looking at the paper. Anyway, on one of my most recent posts, i put up a sketch that i did while i was away on holiday in the lake district. I thought instead of wasting this, i'd have a go at digitally inking and colouring it. It was heavily shaded so i toned down the pencil shading opting for inked lines instead. I inked the outline on adobe illustrator, then put it in photoshop for colouring. It took a long time but i was happy with the outcome. The idea behind the illustration was a girl looking up at rain and instead of it falling on her, she absorbs it into her skin. I thought the colours worked well together, and i tried to add a lot of detail with the highlights but got a bit lazy towards the end...
Anyway, here it is!

One of my designs that i recently did was put in the Hexham local newspaper as an advertisement! Got to start somewhere!

What i've been up to

I haven't posted anything in a while, so i thought i'd do one big update of some things i've been working on recently!

And finally, this is a sketch i did while it was raining and i was trapped in my hotel in the lake district! I may finish it one day. Just bought myself a wacom tablet, so hopefully i'll be able to produce better quality illustrations once i get used to it!
